Term[]

They are called Yokai, and Ayakashi which is the correct term? --Cococrash11 09:39, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Both are used interchangeably. It really seems to depend on who is referring to them - nearly everyone in the past arc uses "ayakashi," whereas in the present day, youkai is more commonly used. Actually, in the manga, whenever "ayakashi" is used, it's as an alternate reading for the first kanji in "youkai" (妖). -- Lynxian 04:22, January 4, 2011 (UTC)

In that case Ayakashi should be a redirect. And what you just explained put it in Yokai. --Cococrash11 05:19, January 4, 2011 (UTC)
